I was serious about being an actress all the way through junior high, high school and the first time I went to college. Was going to do it for real. Did all the plays and acting competitions. I did really well, too. Then my director made me choose between rehearsing a non-singing role in My Fair Lady and a video shoot for my solo with my band. Like, you can't miss this one rehearsal to do that shoot that can only happen that one evening, and if you do miss it, you're out of the drama department, because you have to choose between singing and acting.

I chose the band, and the boy. That was that.

But I still have a love of theater, and apparently, a feel for dialogue. Thanks! I'm so glad you and your friend like them. Hope things get better for her soon.
