U could do J2 AUs, that way they are not brothers, only two ridiculously hot guys :) (((((((And I would also love you forever for some Arrow - Ollie/Quentin fic :D :D Not that it would get you a huge addition to your fanbase or anything, seeing there barely is any Arrow fic yet :) )))))
LOL, I am certain there also are LOTS of people who don't read your fics because they ARE into wincest, BUT only if Dean bottoms :D This is just bound to happen if you pick ONE pairing and stay with it.
With original characters, there is no such problem (I mean the "but I "know" him and he is such a bottom and no way he would..." or "that is totally out of character" or "ewwwww but they are brothers/they are playing brothers/but they are married and have kids and you shouldn't play with them!"), so that way you can write for everyone :) And then your original fics will get awesome ratings (there is no question about that part!) and then everyone will be curious, and... it will just work, I know it! :)
