Thank you! Yes, you can say that. And that's exactly where I'm coming from. I do have experience in this arena, and this is how I play, and how most of the people I know play. It's safe, sane, consensual, and not abusive. The 50 Shades nonsense has me thinking about expanding this into an actual book for public consumption (names/details altered, of course), to at least have an alternate model out there to counter the unhealthy and abusive stuff that happens in that series.
BDSM can be so intimate, emotionally supportive, and even spiritual. More people need to know that.
