Oh, the marking - that was super hot and perfect - I can't imagine it being done any other way. That complete trust and love for each other, not someone else making a mark on them for each other but them doing it to each other. It has so much more meaning and substance.
Speaking of...the knives absorbed their blood - that's important. Another very crucial thing, I think, giving those blades another level of power that comes from a place of complete love.
I'm glad Dean reached out to Bobby, I was hoping some contact would happen, especially since it's Christmas. And things aren't resolved, not at all for either the boys or Bobby or John, but it's a positive step.
